Season Finale - Community Planting - 80 plants
We are doing some last-minute planting of roughly 80 plants on Thursday morning, starting at about 10:30am, if you're free we would really appreciate a couple extra hands, but no sweat if you can't!
(Bring a spade :))
Community Planting Day - Community BBQ
All welcome - learn how to plant natives - join us for a fun day outdoors and BBQ Lunch.
Bring your own gloves and sturdy footwear. Light (non-planting) duties will also be required - such as folding plant guards.
Community Planting Day
Another fun day of community activity with the Birdsong project at the Scargill Reserve. Volunteers have planted well over 1000 native plants, over 40 biodiverse species, eco-sourced native plants this planting season.
Most of the planting area this week is on steep terrain on the slopes above the stream. There will be some tasks, such as folding the plant guards, that do not require secure foothold on the slopes above the stream.
Mega Planting Day
A simple BBQ lunch will be provided. Please bring your own gloves and make sure you have sturdy footwear. Some of the planting will be on the slope down to the stream. This time the plants have all been donated by ECan.
Community Planting Day
Please bring your gloves, a spade and wear sturdy boots suitable for working on uneven ground.
